KM
Number of years in business: I have been working in the wedding industry for 10 years. To really understand what I could do to support the vendors I work with and be a proper advocate for my clients, I worked with many aspects of the wedding business. I work in Fine Dining, then a catering company. I was also a photographer assistant and an assistant for a national awarded floral designer. It gives me a respect for all the parts that are needed to make an exceptional event.
Preferred wedding locations: I love locations that have meaning; where the couple met, childhood vacation spots, private residences, out of the way locations, and tented weddings.
Pricing information: Day of Is $1500, Partial Planning starting at $3000, Full Plan is by quote
What makes me stand out in my industry: I see the big picture of an event as well as all the details. I have a respect for each vendor and respect their personal gifts. I work with them and the bride to create a wedding that is unique to my clients — not cookie cutter celebrations, but thoughtfully designed ceremonies and receptions that take to heart my clients’ personalities while giving brides the peace of mind they deserve.
What do I like to do in my spare time: As a mother of four children, spare time is not something I have a lot of. I enjoy family days at the beach, sending time at our family cottage in Greenville Maine, snuggling with my husband and kids watching a good movie. Going out with great friends, while wearing cute shoes and great clothes.
What charity am I supporting and why: The American Cancer Society. My husband Peter and I have had cancer touch our families personally and closely. I had a cancer scare at 21 when I found a lump in my breast, after a out patient surgery I was given the green light of being cancer free. Cancer knows no social class. No race is untouched, no age is safe. It is something every person has seen and been touched by.
The navy blue and hot pink combination is flawless . . . so fun!
