New England and NYC/Westchester County Wedding Paper Products: Lasso’d Moon Designs, Advice & Trends

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010
New England and NYC/Westchester County wedding paper products, Lasso’d Moon Designs, shares tips, advice, and trends in wedding stationery on my Kate Parker Wedding.  Check it out!

New England and NYC/Westchester County Wedding Paper Products: Lasso'd Moon Designs

If I could pass on some advice about working with a custom stationer, I would say:
1) There’s a limited number of papers available, so we might not be able to match your bridesmaids dresses exactly, but we can do wonders with font colors.
2) Don’t be afraid to ask for help- that’s what we’re here for. A good stationer should be able to help you narrow down what’s going to be best for what you need. It can be an overwhelming process with so many choices.
3) The design process is give and take. It might take a little time to get it right, so I recommend starting the invitation design process 6 months before you’d like to send your invitations out (though 9-12 months if you’re going to send out save the dates).

New England and NYC/Westchester County Wedding Paper Products: Lasso'd Moon Design

As for trends, I’m really just seeing a rise in couples do fun, brighter invitations that are more reflective of their personalities rather than what they think is “in”. That’s when you end up with an amazing design.
